Observe the Purim mitzvah of matanot l’evyonim – gifts to those in need – through our joint Wise-LBT service project immediately preceding our annual Purim Carnival on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. With your help, we hope to supply welcome home baskets for 24 recently housed families through LA Family Housing, as well as lunches to those experiencing food scarcity through Do Good, Hang Out, a partner of the LA Food Coalition. We'll need your help stuffing the boxes and bags, so please donate some items for us to place in these care packages.
Following the service project, participating families will be first in line for the Purim Carnival.
To purchase wristbands or sponsorships in advance, click one of the links below. Purchase wristbands before 3/3 at 4 p.m. to receive a $10 early bird discount. Only Wise and Leo Baeck members are eligible for early bird pricing.
Open to all Wise CYE and LBT Religious School families.
Casual attire (or costumes!) recommended.
