Sunday, December 8, 2024 offers our Grade 7-8 students an incredible opportunity to witness firsthand the effects of homelessness in Los Angeles. Alongside the staff of Tzedek America and teens from Leo Baeck Temple, your teen will travel to downtown Los Angeles on the metro, take a guided tour of downtown LA and Skid Row, meet with someone who was formerly homeless, and learn about impactful organizations who are seeking to address the issue of homelessness in our city.
This has been an incredibly impactful and meaningful experience for students over the past several years and allows them to see LA and understand homelessness in a more nuanced and human way.
