Rabbi David Woznica has just returned from what some have called a
historic diplomatic delegation of 12 rabbis to the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Jerusalem, sponsored by those governments to celebrate the Abraham Accords.
We invite you to join him for an informal gathering to talk about his experience on Tuesday, Aug. 8, at 6:30 p.m. in Plotkin Chapel at Stephen Wise Temple. This event is in-person-only, and will not be streamed.
In addition to what was shared in his
recent sermon and in this recent
article, Rabbi Woznica will offer candid insights he learned from briefings with Natan Sharansky (Chairman for the Institute for Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy); Dr. Tal Becker (Legal Adviser of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs); Israel's Minister of Strategic Affairs, Ron Dermer; Israel's Minister of Diaspora Affairs, Amichai Chikli; Her Excellency Nancy Khedouri (National Assembly of Bahrain, Shura Council); and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, among others, as well as some touching moments that transpired in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
There will be ample time for questions and responses.
