Guide to the Wise Purim Carnival

THE WISE PURIM CARNIVAL IS JUST A FEW DAYS AWAY!
We thought you’d like to know some super important stuff about Sunday, February 25.

PARKING
Accessible parking will be available on the Wise campus (valid handicap placard required) All other guests will park on Casiano Road with very limited spaces available in American Jewish University Lot #4. Shuttles will run constantly to and from campus during the carnival. Don’t worry, our helpful security staff will be there to guide you.
Please obey posted signs on Casiano Road.

FILMING ON CAMPUS
We are filming on campus. Please know that attendance at this event means that you or your guests may appear in the background of scenes being filmed.

SPEAKING OF WHICH: WE’RE SEEKING KIDS IN 80’s HEAVY METAL / ROCKER COSTUMES!
Yeah, you heard that right. We encourage anyone prepping costumes for kids to think about your favorite 80’s hair bands (Bon Jovi, KISS, and so forth). Your adorably-costumed child may appear in our video!

HOLLYWISE BOWL STAGE PERFORMANCES
11 a.m. – The Beat Buds
1 p.m. – Megillah Reading
1:30 p.m. – Special performance by the cast of Wise School’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

ADMISSIONS AND WILL-CALL STATION
Our helpful staff and volunteers can assist you at our admissions and will-call station with your pre-purchased wristbands and pre-purchased food scrip.

PURIM TIKKUN OLAM DRIVE
All week (and on Sunday) we will collect your gently-used items for Baby2Baby, Jewish Family Services, and other partner organizations. Items include toys, books, baby items (e.g. clothes, bedding, furniture.) Questions? Please contact Jennifer Smith.

FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
Scrip is available to purchase food and beverages. Pre-purchased scrip will be held at the will-call station.

We’re kind of a big deal online. Be sure to tag Stephen Wise Temple, Wise School, our clergy and staff, and all your friends and family in your Instagram and Facebook posts and stories.
