Can We Heal: Tending to the Health of a Fractured Community with Tal Becker

Over the course of Jewish history, Israel has played different roles in the imagination and the reality of the Jewish people. Today, due to a myriad of factors, the relationship between North American Jewry and the state of Israel feels challenged. As a Senior Fellow of the Kogod Research Center at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem, Legal Adviser of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a lead negotiator and drafter of the Abraham Accords, Tal Becker has a unique view of the broader landscape surrounding Israel, the Middle East and the broader relationship between the state and world Jewry.

Join us on February 8 at 12:00 p.m. at Stephen Wise Temple in our Zeldin-Hershenson Hall. Vegetarian lunch provided.

This program is offered by the Shalom Hartman Institute, Stephen Wise Temple, and The Board of Rabbis of Southern California, and is designed for rabbis and other Jewish professionals.

Note that this event is off-the-record. It will not be recorded nor streamed.
