Mandatory JLL Training will take place June 20 and June 21 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm at Stephen Wise.

To be considered for a position, each applicant must participate in a face-to-face interview. Please submit your application no later than, March 29, 2019. JLL interviews will be scheduled as needed. (Returning JLLs do not need to interview again.)

The JLL Summer Contribution

There is a contribution fee to participate as a JLL in the Wise Readers to Leaders program. The summer contribution for JLL participation in our program is $500 for the first two weeks of participation and $100 for every week thereafter. This contribution helps support the JLL program including advisory staff, special trips, supplementary activities, food and supplies, as well as the Readers to Leaders program itself, without which the JLL program would not exist. Families making a contribution of at least $1200 to support the Readers to Leaders program (the amount to sponsor one scholar) are exempt from this contribution for any number of children. Anyone for whom this is a financial hardship should speak with Melissa Schneider for special considerations at mschneider@wisela.org. This contribution is payable upon acceptance into the program. *
